Reflections on Our “Connecting with the Senses” Workshop

I feel incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to lead the Connecting with the Senses workshop at the private women’s Verity Club this past weekend. What an inspiring experience it was to guide a group of open and playful individuals who were unafraid to talk about sexuality and embrace vulnerability in such a meaningful way. The energy in the room was magnetic, and together we created a safe space to explore pleasure, connection, and body awareness.

The workshop was a journey into the senses. We started with a sensual food tasting experience, inviting participants to savor flavors and textures mindfully, waking up to the pleasures of taste in a deeply present way. From there, we moved into a self-massage session, allowing everyone to connect with their own bodies, releasing tension, and fostering self-compassion. Incorporating breathwork and a body scan added a layer of mindfulness, bringing everyone into deeper awareness of their bodies.

As the workshop progressed, we culminated in a thrilling exploration of sensation play—a spicy and exhilarating experience that introduced blindfolds, ice, and whips. I was honored to work with a brave model who embraced vulnerability and trust, leading the group through the electrifying sensation of play. It was an empowering moment, reminding us of the beauty in letting go and exploring the unknown in a safe, consensual space.

I am truly grateful for everyone who attended and for the opportunity to facilitate such a transformative and fun journey. Thank you for your openness, your playfulness, and your courage to connect with your senses and your desires in a profound way. And thank you so much to the wonderful Tanya Shapenko for inviting me to speak at this event.
